UTILIDAD DE UN TAPÓN PLEURAL DE HIDROGEL EN LAS BIOPSIAS DE PULMÓN GUIADAS POR TC
Resumen
Objetivos.
El aumento de la utilización de las técnicas de Imagen en la práctica clínica ha traído como consecuencia un aumento en la detección de nódulos pulmonares y
consecuentemente un aumento del número de biopsias pulmonares [1]
La biopsia pulmonar guiada por TC puede realizarse con una punción aspiración con aguja fina (PAAF) con una core biopsia con aguja tipo tru-cut o con ambas [2 3]
La complicación mas frecuente de la biopsia pulmonar es el neumotórax [4] Normalmente, el neumotórax es mínimo y solo requiere seguimiento, pero a veces
requiere la colocación de un tubo de drenaje pleural para su tratamiento [5]
Material y métodos
Se trata de un estudio observacional retrospectivo de tipo analítico sobre 171 biopsias pulmonares guiadas por TC realizadas consecutivamente en nuestro Servicio durante 10 años (2,007-2,016)
Se excluyeron del estudio los pacientes con neumotórax durante la realización de la biopsia, antes de la colocación del hidrogel (Fig 2) y aquellos en que no pudimos recuperar las imágenes de nuestro PACS
